Kimbab is one of traditional Korean food. In Japan we usually use the term "sushi" which has the same meaning with kimbab in Korea.
Kimbab comes from Korean word "kim" means seaweed and "bab" means rice. So kimbab means rice covered with seaweed. Besides, it also contains carrot, pumpkin, ham, and eggs. There are many kinds of kimbab like yaje kimbab (vegetables), tuna kimbab, cheese kimbab, and many more.
Kimbab is the cheapest food among bulgogi, ramyun, tteokpoki, or omurice. Although it's very cheap but it's able to satisfy your hunger
Korean serving style is typical with its dishes and metal chopstick. The dishes are usually yellow pumpkin with kimchi, but sometimes macaroni and cream potato are served. And when you eat in a korean restaurant they only provide mineral water for you to drink. I think it is healthier. You can also choose whether you want a hot or cold mineral water. And you should serve yourself, get your own metal glass and fill your own glass with mineral water
Enjoy your kimbab, chingudeul!!
